The purpose of this notice is to advise that the Borough of Bloomsbury through its contractor Top
Line Construction Corporation (“Top Line”) will commence work on improvements on Milford Road
between Willow Avenue and the Norfolk Southern Railroad right-of-way bridge on or about Tuesday
May 28, 2024. The Borough has awarded Top Line to make repairs and improvements on
approximately 915 LF of Milford Road. Work will begin at the intersection of Willow Avenue. Top Line
has 45 calendar days under its contract with the Borough to complete the work on this project. Thus,
work must be substantially completed on or before Friday, July 5, 2024.
The following improvements are proposed on this project:
1. The installation of various drainage structures and pipe within project limits
2. Resurfacing of the pavement
3. Driveway apron improvements
4. Guiderail installation
5. Signage installation
Work will be performed typically between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through
Friday during the five (5) week work period.
The road within the work zone shall be open to residents. Through traffic will be discouraged. The
contractor shall be implementing maintenance and protection of traffic measures during the
construction. Please use caution while travelling in the work zone.
During certain work efforts temporary closures to certain driveways may be implemented to allow
for the construction of improvements. My field representative, Vinny Graziosa, will provide notice to
you before a closure occurs.
